As of the time of this post, we do not have confirmation from UFCW Local 400 that our contract negotiations have concluded which would in turn provide us with an opportunity to vote on a tentative agreement with Shoppers. Regardless of this, we will still have a contract meeting on Thursday July 12. Please see below for details. Your attendance is CRITICAL in order to hear about the status of our contract first hand from union leadership and fellow union members that were part of the advisory committee. In the event that an agreement has been reached by July 12 then we will vote on that agreement. If it has not been reached, we will have different discussions at the meeting regarding our plan to secure a fair contract.
This has been a VERY difficult negotiation and we must all stand together.
